Gus does all manner of things. He is a cinematographer by trade. He also directs a bit; lots of music videos of late. He has a background in architecture and though he doesn’t design buildings these days (except in his mind), he sometimes designs and makes sculptures and installations. He likes the meditative repetitiveness of working with his hands on quite detailed and fiddly objects.
He also plays music; keyboards and drums, and sings a bit. He loves improvising, and does so in the free-rock band ‘Battlesnake’. He also plays in ‘The Leafs’, and this is a pretty fun band to play in too.

He sometimes feels like he’s wasted lots of hours in his life staring at the clouds, but is gradually making up for lost time by working hard on all manner of projects and experiments, and feeling propelled forward by strange and beautiful creative projects.
