Dell Stewart, a dashing Dellywood star

Introducing this week’s feature artist:

Dell Stewart has organised and participated in numerous solo and
collaborative exhibitions, working with print, textiles, ceramic,
sculpture, drawing, animation and installation. She completed both a
bachelor of fine art (Printmaking) and a Post-graduate diploma in
Animation and Interactive Media. Most recently she has exhibited at Mr
Kitly, Craft Victoria, C3 and Utopian Slumps in Melbourne, Project(OR)
in Rotterdam and also undertaken studio residencies in The Netherlands
and in Berlin.
She was born and raised at the end of a dead end road in the mountains
of Far North Queensland where she learnt a little self sufficiency and a
do it yourself outlook. Interested in tools, patterns, nature, home,
mysterious objects, interaction and exchange.
